Terms of service

The agreement

These terms are between you and Aurum Transfers Limited (Companies Office of Jamaica No. 128348), trading as MovingRated Pro, Ocho Rios, Saint Ann, Jamaica. Subscribing or claiming a page means you accept them.

The service

MovingRated Pro builds and hosts an exclusive lead page for your moving company. Every quote request from your page goes only to you — never shared, never sold, never sent to a competitor. We maintain the page and report honestly on how it performs.

Billing

The founding offer is 50% off ($74.50/month) for your first 3 months, then the full monthly rate ($149/month) by PayPal subscription, month to month, billed in advance from day one. (Movers who signed up under the earlier free-trial promotion keep the terms of that promotion — a 30-day free trial before billing begins — as originally offered.) Cancel any time from your dashboard or by email; service runs to the end of the paid period and paid months are not refunded pro-rata. Your business name, your content, and your leads remain yours — on cancellation we hand over your page content and remove our hosting.

Domain registration service

You can either connect a domain you already own ($39) or have us register a brand-new domain and connect it (from $49). The price is a bundled service fee that includes our markup — it is not just the cost of the domain, and it is not itemized. For a newly registered domain you are the registered owner from the moment of registration — it is registered in your name. You authorize us to submit the registrant details you provide to our reseller (name.com) and the registry, and you confirm they are accurate (ICANN requires this). You may need to verify your registrant email to keep the domain active.

Registration is one-time for one year and does not auto-renew — we store no payment method for it and never auto-charge you. We email renewal reminders before expiry as a courtesy; if you do not renew, the domain lapses and you lose it. Because you own it, you can also renew or move it yourself at any time.

Once a new domain is registered, the fee is non-refundable — the registry fee is a sunk cost we cannot reclaim and the domain belongs to you, not us. If registration fails for any reason, you are automatically refunded in full and no domain is registered — you are never charged with nothing to show for it. A connect-existing purchase is refundable until we have configured it. If we suspend for a registrant-verification you did not complete, that is not a refund reason — the domain is still yours and reactivates when you verify.

You are responsible for the domain name you choose, including that it does not infringe anyone's trademark; we do not perform trademark clearance, and as the registrant you are the party to any dispute over the name. If you leave, you already own the domain — we unlock it and give you the authorization code to move it anywhere, at no extra fee. One honest caveat: moving a brand-new domain to a different registrar can take up to about 60 days under standard ICANN rules; your ownership is unaffected and keeping it in place has no wait.

What we promise — and what we don't

We make no promise about how many quote requests or leads you will get, and no promise about rankings or appearance in any AI engine's answers. What you get: the exclusive page, maintenance, and honest tracking. The FMCSA data we display is public and identical for every mover, paying or not — paying never changes your record.

Claiming a page

You may only claim a page for a business you own or are authorized to represent. We verify claims against the USDOT record. Misrepresenting ownership ends the service without refund.

Public data

Carrier data panels display what public FMCSA records return, with the date checked. If your authority status changes, the panel changes with it — we never display a stale or inflated status in either direction. MovingRated Pro is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the FMCSA or USDOT. Verify any carrier at FMCSA.gov.

Text messages

SMS is sent only to numbers that opted in, and only for account and appointment updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.

Changes and law

If we change these terms we will email active subscribers before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
